HipHollywood recently caught up with Evan Ross who is excitedly following in the footsteps of his legendary mother Diana Ross and recording his first album! Evan is best known for his acting with roles in "ATL" with TI and "Pride" with Terrence Howard. Ross says that the album will be "pop, with a hint of soul". Wow, that's a lot of pressure...to dive into the music biz when your mom is Diana Ross!!! BUT I'm sure with growing up around music all of his life he has learned a thing or two! Don't worry, Evan isn't abandoning acting while he is recording his debut album, he tells us he has a few films in the works.
